How To Make You Tube Links Clickable

you-tube-clickable-links

Our friends over at You Tube have last week made it that our links are not clickable anymore for a lot of videos.

Well there is a very simple way to make your You Tube video link clickable again.  After spending 3 hours on Friday afternoon testing every possible way that it can be done, I figured out how to get it done.

The description of the link has to be less then 120 characters.

Now if you click on the description, yes you can see the link and people can click on that.  I have my daily visitors from You Tube drop from almost 500 to close to 300 visitors a day just with that one  change.

Having a clickable link under your description makes a huge difference.

Oh great, just perfect,,,, now I have to go back and edit over 350 of my videos. My youtube account was opened in April of 2007. Over the past 3 years I have uploaded somewhere around 355 of my own home made videos. At one time I had around 400 videos, but some of the lower quality videos were taken down.

120 characters is not a lot of space either. That is barely enough room for some targeted keywords and that is about it.

UPDATE: looks like they fix the bug and all is back to normal now.
